Uttara Adhunik medical is the teaching hospital of the college. It is a 500 bedded multi disciplinary hospital in Uttara, Dhaka providing tertiary level health care services to patients from all over the country including a large number of people from Uttara, Tongi, Gazipur, Savar. The total land area of the hospital complex is 87260.035 sq.ft. (5 bighas). The main building of the hospital is 17 storied confiding top 4 levels temporarily for the college section. There are 3 separate buildings for Radiology, Orthopedics, ENT, Dental & Emergency departments. The main building provides excellent medical, surgical, obstetrics and gynaecological services. The hospital also has 24 hours emergency services, modern diagnostic facilities, ICU, CCU, NICU and Haemodialysis Unit. It has about 986 staffs of which 234 teachers and doctors; 343 nurses; 76 technicians and staffs; 286 attendants and cleaner; & 47 security guards.The hospital has yearly turnover of around 2 to 3 Lac patients. According to the hospital records total Hospital Admission was 75,624 with 2,10,777 of outpatient attendance during the period of July 2017 to June 2018. The hospital continues to acquire sophisticated medical equipments renowned specialists highly skilled nursing and support staffs contributing to its reputation as a medical centre of excellence.

Special care for critically ill patients are provided in separate units as per patient’s requirement & proper clinical indications under -

  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU),
  • Coronary Care Unit (CCU), or
  • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

A modern, well equipped ICU is placed at the 10th floor accommodating 20 beds with 17 ventilators.

CCU is placed at the 3rd floor accommodating 17 beds.
